ER70S-6 is a coper coated carbon steel wire or rod that contains higher levels of manganese and silicon than the other standard grades of carbon steel wires. ER70S-6 wire features excellent tolerance of rust and scale ER70S-6 is used for butt and fillet welding of sheet and plate of a variety of thickness. Applications include general carbon steel fabrication. It also performs well on rusty and oily areas on carbon steels.
